Extended essay
Each student has the opportunity to investigate a topic within one of the six subject areas that is of special interest to her or him and write a personal essay on it. The essay is an externally assessed independent research assignment of 4.000 words. This is an excellent opportunity for the students to specialize in a certain subject area and prepare for the university. Normally this is both a challenging and extremely interesting learning experience.
Deadlines for IB2010:
September 14th 2009: First draft to supervisor.
November 1st 2009: Final copy to supervisor.
